亲爱的书院院生们：

2号书院将更名为“观通书院”。“观通”二字取自浙江大学校歌“念哉典学，思睿观通”这句话。这段耳畔边熟悉的旋律，蕴含着国学大师马一浮先生对浙大学子的殷殷嘱托。希望在“观通书院”的各位,能够勤学善思，知行合一，以达到思想睿智、见识通达。

 9月26日晚，“观通书院”院长聘任仪式暨专题报告会将隆重举行。我们非常荣幸地邀请到教育部长江学者特聘教授、国家杰青获得者，国家级教学名师、浙江省特级专家应义斌教授出任“观通书院”院长。

应教授将与大家分享大学教育、人才培养等方面内容，并与同学们面对面交流互动。现场还有精美纪念品相赠，期待你的到来！

活动对象：所有书院在住院生（根据场地限前500名，超额时“观通书院”同学优先）

活动时间：2023年9月26日（周二）晚18:30

活动地点：国际校区学术大讲堂

活动语言：中文为主（提供同声传译）

【注意事项】报名开始时间2023/9/22 20:00，截止时间2023/9/24 20:00，名额有限，报满即止。本次活动将作为《形势与政策2》课程选修讲座，同时作为本科新生始业教育环节（三个书院各有一讲，至少择其一）。

Invitation to the Master Inauguration Ceremony of the Guantong College

Dear Students：

The Residential College No.2 will be renamed as the “Guantong College”, taking the name from the lyrics of Zhejiang University anthem. The familiar melody contains the earnest entrustment of Mr. Ma Yifu, a master of Chinese traditional studies, to the students of Zhejiang University. We sincerely hope that all the residents of our Residential College will be diligent in learning and thoughtful in thinking.

The Master Inauguration Ceremony of the Guantong College will be held on the evening of September 26th. We are honored to announce that Professor Ying Yibin, Distinguished professor of Cheung Kong Scholars of Ministry of Education, winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, national excellent teacher, Distinguished expert of Zhejiang Province, will be serving as the Master of the Guantong College. 

Professor Ying will share insights on higher education, talent cultivation, etc. There will also be exquisite souvenirs distributed at the event.

Event Participant: All the residents from Residential College (Students from Guantong College have priority if attendees exceed the seating capacity of 500)

【NOTE】 Registration opens from20:00 on September 22th to 20:00 on September 24th. Limited places are available. This event will serve as a lecture for the “Current Situation and Policy 2” course and as part of the orientation schedule for undergraduate freshmen. And three Residential colleges will hold one Master Inauguration Ceremony respectively, you should choose at least one of them to attend.
